“Posizionato in un posto strategico, vicino alla stazione e al Castello, in pieno centro è, secondo me, la scelta ideale per visitare la splendida città di Newcastle Upon Tyne... e, se fate come me, e cercate i momenti di Mark Knopfler e dei Dire Straits, a pochi passi capirete cosa sono i Dog Leap Stairs citati in "Down to the Waterline" ”

“Great room. Very clean and tidy. Everything you need in it. ”

“We booked a last minute room and were pleasantly surprised how lovely and clean and comfortable it was. The bar area in the evening was relaxing and inviting. The breakfast area was hectic. There was a good choice of food and was lovely. The coffee was lukewarm even after we asked for a fresh pot. It’s easy walking distance into town. Overall, a good stay.”

“The Bathroom needs ventilation to get rid of the steam. The pain on the ceiling was peeling off.”

“Pretty good overall. Breakfast especially good and room comfortable. Main downside was the bathroom which looked old and tatty especially the silicone sealant. Toilet constantly running. Sink tap constantly leaking from handle and occasionally making a loud vibrating noise which could also be heard coming from other rooms. Shower good though. But liquid soap and shampoo poor quality and nozzles don't screw properly into bottles and don't pump properly. No sound proofing against corridor noise...

“Brilliant Spa facilities; probably the best of all the hotels I stay in Bedroom lighting appalling; impossible to do any paperwork in the evening. Needs at least a standard lamp near the desk. Unfortunately the sink waste & hot tap didn't work & couldn't be fixed until the following day. ”
