“We chose a bad day to go, there was a Christmas fare on in a marquee in the grounds and the place was packed out with every available member of staff busy in the restaurant, so there was no one mannig the reception, so, we did as the notice on the door said and asked a member of staff to check us in, and although she was rushed of her feet she got us checked in along with another couple who had also arrived. “A single room does not need two bedside tables, and if one could be replaced by an easy chair for when reading or watching Television that would be great. Not a dog person so not particularly keen on dogs in the restaurant when having evening meal, but a minor thing they were well behaved. Overall very good and will come again ”
