“We checked in on a Sunday night when it was empty - for two nights. Not sure why they opted to put us in the room right beside the stairs, but it was incredibly noisy at all hours of the day. There is almost no sound proofing between the rooms beside you or above you. Both nights we were woken up by the people above us. We could even hear them peeing.. The second night we had guests beside us and we could hear them slamming doors as they went between rooms and screaming at their TV. The beds...

“An amazing property. No dinner available which was a disappointment after calling ahead the week before to confirm. Short drive to town and a great dinner. Spacious rooms. Nice attention to detail with coffee, tea, larger fridge etc. Quiet and bed was comfy. Charcuterie board and wine plus hot breakfast were excellent as well. Would recommend and would return. ”

“Parking wasn't great, there is enough for the number of hotel rooms, but not enough room for hotel guests if there is a function on....Which seems to be often. We had to park in a nearby carpark and keep checking for a free space. Breakfast was ok. On the first morning it was quite quiet but they Kept running out of coffee and plates. The second morning was better. Food is nothing special. The Room. We stayed in the Emily Dickinson room, it was ok. Nice decor. Bed terrible, needs...

“Elmhurst is on a beautiful property, ideal for weddings and events. We were just here for a girls weekend - the space, restaurant and on-site spa are all fantastic. An elegant and indulgent weekend!”

“Hotel is old (cracked bathroom sink) and old carpets. But clean enough and comfortable beds. “Free Breakfast” was packaged muffins or a no name fruit cup - that’s it. One type of keurig coffee. Friendly staff. Small town, mid week, low occupancy so maybe $165 was a bit high.”

“Liked the outdoor sitting areas. The beds were great. Breakfast was excellent. The pool floor was slippery and the channel selection for the tv could be better. Staff were very helpful.”
