“Host is lovely, breakfast was delicious, area is quiet and beautiful, unit has absolutely everything you can possibly require. Optional interaction with resident poodles, who did not bark at all after I was settled in the unit. Beware that if you use the calendar event that Expedia automatically generates on iPhone, the address is NOT correct (takes you next door) and that the Apple map pin on the correct address is also not accurate.”

“Lovely location, easy walking to the marina, shops and restaurants. The property is tucked off the road so is quite quiet! The accommodation is cozy and quaint and was just as described - perfect for curling up on the loveseat (or recliner) reading a novel and enjoying the view! It has a lovely little fireplace heater for ambiance, too! (It was rainy and chilly for part of our trip so this was a bonus!) I discovered beautiful little walking paths throughout Cowichan and we had the added pleasure...

“We had a great stay in the east room! Aparna and Sunny were so friendly and accommodating and their dog JarJar was very cute and friendly. The views from the property were stunning and the private hot tub was lovely. Would definitely recommend this property! ”

“We came for our honeymoon. We were shocked by the ocean views upon our arrival, absolutely breathtaking. The private deck, hot tub were more than we expected. “I was skeptical when I pulled up in front of this suburban home. But once I was inside, everything was wonderful and professional, and I was well taken care of. ”

“Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. Our bedroom was upstairs, which was okay for us but might have proved challenging for some guests. The bathroom amenities were very satisfactory but the towels and bath mat were tired. The parking was adequate but the...

“Enjoyed our stay but in hindsight should have booked a rental car. Our hosts were very good in dropping us off at places while we made our own way back.”

“Our room was very clean. We used the sauna and liked having the robes to wear downstairs. Michelle was friendly and gave us a tour of the property and explained how the services worked. We had to catch an early ferry and the property offers a breakfast to go if needed. We had a lovely breakfast. We would stay here again .”
