“This is the perfect place to stay for some quiet time away from the city. This cabin facilitated us to make our own meals since it was fully stocked, the bed is so SOFT! We had plenty of fire logs for the firepit, so we spent every evening grilling and warming up outdoors. Our hosts Pamela and Kirk are so nice and kind. “My family was in town for a birthday party. This space was perfect for us to hang out together! The kids loved the pool & looking for fish and tiny frogs in the water feature by the front door. Definitely one of places to stay in NB (and we’ve stayed a lot since our son & his family live there). My husband liked that there weren’t any neighbors. Great host & a great spot for my people. We’ll be back!”

“We really liked mostly everything about our stay. We appreciated all the little extra amenities. I would like to stay again but 2 things… I wish check-in was earlier and the Peacock room bed was not comfortable. It moved a lot and the mattress was hard. I slept on the couch 1 night. I would consider a better mattress. I think the other room was ok. But overall it’s a really nice place.”

“This is a great property for wanting to feel like you’re miles away from the city but really just a short drive to everything New Braunfels has to offer. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and had plenty of room for our group of 7. Highly recommend!”

“Cool idea, great patio, close to Gruene, not by the river as I thought (you have to drive to get there), on a lot with a few other container homes, but way overpriced for what it is. Even though it says $110 a night, by the time you are out the door, it is more like $250. Assuming they fix the deceptive pricing, this place has a lot of potential to be amazing. ”

“There were lots of hoops to jump through to reserve this property which included a background check and I had to submit all my email addresses because they said my personal one wasn’t valid and it took more than an hour. The gate to the site’s parking places was padlocked and we were told to park across River Road, which is a busy street that is often driven by people who’ve been floating the river and drinking. This put us and our young daughters at risk and we were worried about our vehicles...

“The Cottage was small and cozy. Was not to thrilled on location. Hoping for a closer swim area. Great for fishing, jetski and boating though. Host very responsive. The overall stay was good. ”

“Property is on the river and has many modern amenities. 3-4 great gathering areas in great room, kitchen, and outside. Hot tub is in like new condition and well maintained. While the house is older, the remodel and updating have been very well done so it feels and looks like the description. Water is low because of the dam work up river, but will be even more enjoyable once that work is complete and the river is flowing normal. Definitely recommend and we would definitely consider returning for...
