“Very relaxing”

“Had a lovely stay. Hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief on a couple of cold, snowy days. The view of the ocean through the snow was nice. The stairs are a little steep but manageable. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.”

“Trailside cabins are set back from road, in a private setting. Interiors are spotlessly clean, efficient with everything you need, nicely decorated. Private access path to rocky ocean front. Very accomodating owners. ”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“This spot was really clean and super comfortable. had all the kitchen things! The fireplace was easy to use, we had plenty of wood and kindling. Comfortable seating in the living area. All Rooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfy.Was a great stay. Host respond quickly ”

We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay. Maybe we'll get back there one day. ”

“I was there to ride my motorcycle and see Nova Scotia. This location was perfect for getting around, not far from Rt 1, the highway and Trunk 8. So it was close to riding the coastline, cutting across the island or the highway to every where else. Returning back to a quiet place to enjoy the thoughts and views of the day’s ride was made easy with this private setting.”

“My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.”

“Remote cabin, which was just what we wanted. The place was nice & clean and the beds very cozy. The bathhouse was just outside our cabin and was also spotless and well-kept. We used the shared cookhouse and there was everything there that we needed. It was easy to figure out where to store our things since the hosts have everything well-labelled. We loved watching the dark night sky from the roomy deck. The Persied meteor shower was at its height during our stay and we had front-row seats. I...
