The woman who worked the front desk during the day went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable but the state of the rooms and the late night underage partying was out of her hands. The phone did not work in the 1st room and there was a loud knocking sound coming from the bathroom wall. The ceiling tiles were falling down and maintenance was unable to fix it. We were given another room but upon entry we found several freshly soiled areas (bodily fluids) on the furniture. The front desk quickly found us a 3rd room that was clean. Everything was great until the partying started and continued all night. We were woken up several times until I finally called the front desk at 4:40am to address the underage drinking and obnoxiously loud partying happening on the first floor and at the closed pool outside of our balcony window. Management was fully aware and promised that this would not continue the second night but again we were woken up several times throughout the night. Police were notified. Be cautious when booking the boardwalk building and be prepared to be disturbed through the night. This hotel was booked as a Stay to Play hotel for the beachfest Volleyball tournament. Our girls did not get the rest that they needed and it effected their performance throughout the weekend.
