Opossum Bay Beachside Cottage

Il cottage è un semplice rifugio con accesso ad una spiaggia sicura per camminare, esplorare e tutte le attività acquatiche. La spiaggia si trova di fronte al casolare.

La cucina ha una dispensa, frigo / freezer, fornelli, tostapane, brocca elettrica e stoviglie. Il bagno ha una doccia combinate e vasca, con servizi igienici e lavatrice.

La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale, e un piccolo abito walk-in. La seconda camera da letto dispone di 3 letti a castello, con immagazzinaggio sotto le cuccette e scaffali.

La terrazza esterna è grande e si affaccia sull'acqua. Sono disponibili ombrellone e sedie all'esterno.

Il cottage è sulla spiaggia principale di Opossum Bay, che è l'unità 30-40minute da Hobart CBD, ea 40 minuti da Hobart Airport. La linea di autobus pubblico va oltre il Cottage.

Fare.
Vi è anche un facile accesso al patrimonio e trail passeggiate, più i surf e la pesca are della penisola sud Braccio baia / Opossum.

Barbecue e parco giochi sono a 100 metri a sud del Cottage.

Ristoranti.
Il General Store è aperto 7 giorni per generi alimentari e take away. E 'a piedi 200 metri Sud dal Cottage.

C'è un ristorante, bar, pizza al South Arm, che è 7km Sud da Cottage.

Beautiful view
Enjoyed our stay. Steep stairs were a bit difficult due to poor fitness but we were told in advance and agreed so can’t complain. The view made up for that. So relaxing watching and listening to the waves.

Fab waterfront old school shack
Unbelievable water frontage with incredible sunset views looking back at Mt Wellington. The walks on Gellibrand Reserve take you to the first whaling station in Australia. We ate fresh flathead caught off the beach and watched a seal playing in Opussum Bay.

Short stay
5 nights on the beach. Location is super, and for the price, the accommodation is great; clean and has everything you need for a self contained place. It gets very sunny in the afternoon so aircon comes in handy after a stroll along the beach. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Thanks!

This place was so nice, the photos don't do it justice. With the sound of waves lapping outside the window day and night, and an amazing view, right on the beach whats there not to love. We will be back for sure

Wonderful property with the beach literally outside the door, very clean and well appointed, it felt cozy and welcoming. We booked very last minute and the owner really went to extraordinary lengths to ensure all was ready for our arrival. Highly recommended.

Second Stay, Same Beautiful Location
The second time we have stayed at this great little property, and once again it delivered the goods. Steve is easy and great to deal with and the little cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Positioned absolute beachfront, you can’t beat the location. Would recommend highly.

Small old time shack
Being right on the beach and a full view of the bay is a gift. Economical. Most shacks/homes on OBay have steep steps at some point. The steps from road to this shack to unpack were hard work. A challenge for older adults and young children.

Hidden gem
Overall I love this place. Stephen called a week before check in and explain everything and make sure I know where the key box are and other stuff and he also send the text right after. Great view, clean property, everything provided in the kitchen (salt ,pepper ,soy sauce ,olive oil, tea, coffee, sugar) this makes it so much easier for me to cook my meal since I’m on a program and can’t eat fast food etc. Clean bathroom (which is my no 1 priority) clean bedroom (although the bed bit squeaky but not an issue) PERFECT BEACH VIEW !!!!! We arrived a bit late around 10pm and it’s quite tricky to access the house as it’s pretty dark and it was raining so might have to be extra careful if you arrive in the evening, walk path down is a bit steep, I almost slipped. Just follow the path from the gate and walk down. If you come for or into the Milky Way, you can capture it right above the deck💫💫 I’m very happy staying here and will look forward to stay here again

Can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere with better beach access. I always dreamed of staying on the beach and this it it! Falling asleep to the sound of waves washing the shoreline was magical! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Beach front perfect location !
They say location location location and that applies to this beachside stay . I could not believe my eyes when I saw we were actually right ON the beach ! Just wonderful ! Our host was in touch and gave easy instructions and as we only had one night to stay in Hobart before our flight home we were thrilled to be allowed to stay for just the 1 night . It was super quiet at night and we slept with the gentle sound of little waves . And saw the moon out of the window too . Opossum Bay is a quiet safe pretty beach with views across to Hobart and Mount Wellington . Even has a traditional fish and chip shop ! The accommodation was an updated corner shack and had a big modern bathroom. And a large deck up the top for bbqs etc . Steep block means steep steps but there is a well made public path adjacent to the house with no neighbours on that side which is handy at night especially . It was the perfect stay to end our lovely holiday in Tasmania .

Absolutely fantastic position and views. Dreadful entry, very steep. Beds not that comfortable. Lack of storage, eg clothes cupboards,bedside tables, 2nd bedroom very cramped, a bbq on the deck would have been good. Just loved being right on the beach.
