“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. “Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”

“From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs.The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience.”
