“Great place to stay ”

“I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay”

“Ok for short stay. AC did not work well in room and drains in shower and sink were clogged. Fridge in room not very cold.”

“Clean and comfortable property in the middle of a small town. Very quite historic property and worth the price.”

“Everything was as my wife and I had hoped, clean room, two pillows each, well-lit parking lot, easy to use TV, and a very helpful staff.”

“I just didn't like the fact I requested for a change and clean up of the room and the answer was NO.”

“The place is at the heart of the city. Many touristy places within walking distance. Good breakfast spread. All-day coffee is available.”

“Nice place for an overnight or 2. My big complaint is that our room smelled terribly of cigarettes and there were no other rooms available. The smell dissipated after a day but it was very bad to start. I will definitely stay here again but will make sure Its a nonsmoking room.”

“I checked out after seeing my room. The owner refused to refund my money! The facility was not updated as advertised. The pictures where staged. The appearance of the room was not even close except for the wallpaper behind the bed! I had to drive further down to stay at the Days Inn which was much nicer. Advice to future travels, keep driving! Very dirty!”

“The Lafayette Inn is a beautiful mansion, with lovely gardens, a welcoming entry and living area and fabulous staff. We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. Breakfast options were plenty and Kristen prepared the egg bites and pastries to perfection. The snacks, cookies, coffee, filtered water were amenities not often scene. The king room was comfortable and roomy. We highly recommend the Inn.”

“If I'm not mistaken when I made the reservations it said breakfast included.come to find out the next day all they hed was coffee.. the help that was there did nothing but stood around in the breakfast area. Both of them was a little bit sarcastic to my wife. For the price that you pay for the room I would have thought that they could have had something a little bit better than just coffee.”

“Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...
