“Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was fine for what we needed. We had dogs with us. We had dinner in the bar, it was ok. But we decided not to stay for breakfast. Great for getting the ferry. The hotel is old and needs a lot of money to spend on it but the owners are trying. We would stay again as it’s affordable and very friendly. ”

“We stayed only one night therefore my opinion can be partial. The building is old and some parts should probably be renewed (elevator first!) but well kept in general. The room rather small but clean. WiFi is probably underdimensioned as I could not connect despite of the good signal, fortunately personel (all very kind) provided an alternative network. “Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. Quiet area within walking distance of the train station 10 mins max and a lovely marina across...

“Out in the country, a few miles from Inverary. Staff were excellent! Wanted to please!!! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Did need more hot items. Internet was not very good. Location probably was the issue. Stairs could be challenging for some patrons. TV was fine. Plenty of parking!”
