“OMGosh! This place was so AMAZING…from the heated floors to every form of coffee brewing available (teas and hot chocolates are stocked as well). I enjoyed freshly ground French pressed coffee every morning in this well-built, extremely clean home with comfortable beds and seating area. The kitchen doesn’t lack for anything, and the bathrooms are oversized. We stayed in the lower part of the home which had 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. “It was wonderful for our big family! Everyone was able to have their own sleeping space and there was plenty of space at the table for all of us. Our grandchildren loved the toys. They kept them entertained the entire week. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the spectacular views!”

“At arrival confusion prevailed. Not only had we already paid online through VRBO but also had to pay again upon arriving. Host had not received anything in account from VRBO, Host assured there would be a reimbursement, but there appeared to be a disconnect between lodge and VRBO. Actions are still pending. Room was cold until space and wall heaters were turned on. Slight leak under front of toilet. Room was rustic and comfortable. Location to fishing on Kasilof River is extremely good.”

“The one challenge was in “the apartment.” It was way too crowded for a family of 5. The child beds were uncomfortable and what would happen in case of a fire? The other rooms were very nice. The front yard was great. Please replace the bags boards & bags - hazardous. Additional flatware would be helpful. We had 16 in our group.”
