“A great tiny cottage on a working farm. There are 6 cottages available each with a small private deck. We could go out at various hours to watch the northern lights without disturbing others. There is no TV but we had wifi and the amazing scenery to keep us occupied. The owner was helpful and breakfast great. Dinner is provided if requested in advance. Highly recommend. Cozy is the best word to describe it.”

“Die Unterkunft war einzigartig, schön ruhig und hatte eine Top Ausstattung. (Super süße Tassen und schöne Teller) Man konnte direkt von der Terrasse aus die Nordlichter sehen. Die Sauna war auch super. Alles was man zur Entspannung braucht. Ein toller einzigartiger Abschluss. Leider gab es kein Feuerholz, wir hätten gerne noch den Ofen ausprobiert. The weather/wind in Iceland was the worst it has been in 10 years, and we briefly lost power. Our host brought us a generator, coffee, pastries, and kept us updated every step. They checked in on us often and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. They have a very detailed book on property with instructions for everything. “We loved our stay at this cottage in Iceland. It was a perfect spot for our exploring to Snæfellsnes. The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. “My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. “We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”

“This home was a perfect, cozy spot for our family (6 adults, 4 children) to relax after adventurous days exploring west Iceland! The location was quiet and private while also being a short drive to grocery stores, gas, and restaurants. The home was well stocked with essentials including plenty of towels for both shower and hot tub use. The owners provided detailed check-in instructions and responded to communications in a timely manner. We highly recommend this lovely home! ”
