“This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants. Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms. “ Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. No air con was on at breakfast which would have been nice but the breakfast was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities but overall a lovely location and nicely presented hotel ”

“Parfait comme d'habitude. L'un des rares hôtels où il m'arrive encore de faire des "Wow" quand je rentre dans la chambre et que je retrouve la vue en terrasse. Chambres, mobilier et lit impeccables. “The location was spot on... Staff friendly..... Room was not as clean as I hoped for Windows not clean shower didn't work properly Shower drain didn't work properly no hand soap.... Blinds was not working..... But when it came to bfast I was shocked ONLY aloud 1 cofee if you want more drinks you have to pay for it..... Also soaps in room was poor and gave powder milk in rooms for cofee It didn't have that lush feel to it..... More money making feel..... Sad as it has alot going for it.... ”

“Hatte ein Appartment für 6 Nächte im Secret Garden Guesthouse gebucht und war insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit der Lage zum Strand, den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie der wunderbaren Aussicht zum Tafelberg. Das Appartment war ausreichend groß mit separaten Schlafzimmer und einer Terasse sowie einem herrlichen Blick auf den wunderschönen angelegten Garten und den Pool. “They have a maximum 2 guest policy but I had booked with 2 children. They allowed us to continue with the reservation as well as provided a cot. Very friendly staff and very helpful with information. Laundry services are also available at an extra cost. Nice quiet neighbourhood ”

“The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were crisp and clean. The space in the penthouse was amazing with enough beds and room for our whole family. The views were spectacular!!! Made the rental totally worth it. The furniture did have some questionable stains. There is a strong marijuana smell. ”

“We spend 3 nights at Sunset Decks and would like to recommend this place. Everything was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Only the pool wasn’t that good, so if you want to take a swim, we recommend that you go down to the beach nearby. There is a supermarket and a great restaurant called Fancy Franks in walking distance. We went there a couple of times.
