“We really enjoyed the property. The City Lights Christmas displays outside our door and down the bluff walk was fantastic. Condo was very nice. A little busy outside the sliding glass doors since we were on the ground floor, but curtains worked fine. Parking was a block and a half away and was up a steep hill. Glad it wasn't raining when we were there.”

“It was a beautiful property in walking distance to everything you'd want. The balcony and fire pit were by far my favorite feature. Awesome property all around.”

“Staying in this beautiful historic home was like staying with dear friends. It’s a lovely house in a great neighborhood. It was clean and inviting. Virgil was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were so comfortable that I slept as well as I do at home. We walked to great restaurants and all around the neighborhood and local park. We loved the front porch! We would definitely stay here again.”

“there is no parking at this property and the code on the door was incorrect. it was a hassle. I had to find another hotel and they refunded my money.”

“We stayed for a long weekend. The pics/description on vrbo were spot on. This place is beautiful. You will have everything you will need while visiting. The location is downtown and easy to walk to several restaurants. There are trains close by but the host provides sound machines in each bedroom. There is a restaurant downstairs that does play music but they close around midnight. Again, sound machines. I would gladly stay here again. . ”

“The Empty Nest is a very nice house and it is well appointed. Somewhat of a remote location, so it is perfect if that is what you are looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips.
