“Location is ideal for anytime of year if you love the outdoors. Close to great hikes/trails during the non snow season and during the snow season close to Kirkwood Ski Resort. We definitely enjoyed our stay.”

“This is the second time we’ve stayed here. A relaxing secluded home in the mountains, private and quiet. The home was immaculate. Our host was very responsive. We loved kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on Silver Lake and hiked to beautiful Potholes nearby. Star gazing in the hot tub was amazing! On the drive from the Bay and back it was lovely stopping for wine tasting in the Sutter Creek area. We hope to stay again soon! ”

“There were drunk loud people in the room right under us. They kept us awake, we asked them nicely to be quiet. But it didn't change, so I called down to the front desk. She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. “A beautiful property with all you want for a nice relaxing vacation. From the heated pool and jacuzzi surrounded by majestic trees, to the 4K projector and sound system in the living room ... you have all you need to relax and entertain. Large and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has everything (I mean everything) you might need. Multiple areas to sit and hangout or to eat inside or outside. I have written 5-star reviews for other properties, but I think this is the real 5-star one....

“Great location in the foothills. Good beds, kitchen, plenty of space. We'd stay here again as an affordable base camp for skiing Kirkwood. If there's snow on the ground your bay-area sedan probably won't make it up the driveway. The thermostat was off. It's terrible to arrive at 9pm in January to a 43 degree house and have the NEST thermostat tell you it will take 2+ hrs to get to 70. Yes, a NEST that can be controlled remotely to warm up the house prior to guest arrival. This happened to us...
