“To be clear, it is entirely likely we will stay here again. Please keep that in mind as you read. I'm not sure why this property is rated 8.8. It is a solid 6. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hard to operate as the temp control did not work. No big deal. My wife had a bit of trouble with a dog allergy as it appears pets are allowed in every room. An open window fixed this. The outside of the property is a bit run down. Hand rails for stairs are too low, missing or coming out...

“Cute place. Nice update and remodel without destroying all the great things about this type of classic motel, beginning with no stairs to climb. Just unload your car. The room was clean but an alcohol wipe on the TV remote might have gotten a tiny bit of grime off. Blackout shades would be a useful update. Like all places, it needs an over-the-air TV antenna so guests can watch local TV (not sure how well that works in mountain towns, though). I’m no fan of Hulu. ”

“This is a nice little condo just minutes from Monarch Ski area. Gigi was really nice and her communication was great. The condo had everything we needed. The only complaint we had was that the sofa cushions need to be replaced. It was really uncomfortable to sit on the couch for any period of time. If that was fixed then we'd recommend this unit to anyone wanting to stay near Monarch Mountain. ”
