“It was very poorly maintained. The yurt was falling apart, the vegetation was not maintained and there was rotten trees and leaves everywhere. When it rained the stone stairs became slippery due to all the leaves, plus all the trail lamps didn’t work , glad we had headlamps. “Vom Dach des Hotels konnte man den Dhaulagiri, 8167m sehen. Schon 2015 war ich auf der Suche nach einem Ort, von wo man diesen 8000-er sehen kann. Auf gut Glück fuhr ich damals mit dem Bus nach Baglung, sah ein Reklame-Schild für das Peace Palace Hotel mit dem Dhaulagiri darauf, ging dorthin und fragte nach dem Dhaulagiri-Blick. “L’albergo si trova nella zona nord del lago, a circa 4 km de la zona centrale “Lakeside”. Questo comporta che un taxi dalla stazione degli autobus all’albergo costi intorno alle 600-700 rupie anziché 200. La vista dal albergo è molto bella, unico pregio della struttura. La camera e ampia, però l’arredamento è minimo. Non è stata fatta la pulizia giornaliera. L’ultimo giorno ho chiesto la prima colazione al sacco perché partivo presto e mi stata negata, dicendo che no sarebbe “fresca”. ”

“We stayed here for a day coming back from Poonhill and it was one of best experience we had in Sarangkot. View from deluxe room was spectacular with mountain view from one side and city view from other. And we watched sunrise from our bed itsellf and wow what a great time it was with red sun and mountains on the side.
