“This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!”

“There were 15 people in our group. We had a great time. Albert Bolona, the bartender was the best. The chef, Sam, did an incredible job. The boat ride to and from the island was a little torturous with getting wet. No air conditioning but the breeze always blowing made it manageable.”

“When we arrived to Brisa we were escorted to our room by staff and given a quick tour of the room. We quickly noticed that we did not have a pull out couch (we booked the 2 bedroom with 3 beds beach access) and when one of my guests went to inform staff and initially received an attitude that we “did not rent the cot as we were supposed to”. “Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations.
