“Did not have breakfast, but evening meal was good. Room was okay but for the three nights we stayed we didn’t get bed made or tea/coffee replenished or the small bin emptied. As for the noise from people using rooms above us it was a nightmare (do not choose room 3) Was not impressed ”

“Booked "dog-friendly room" (it's handy to have that description in the room information when booking as otherwise I'd ring the hotel before booking to check if dogs are ok in room we're booking, so thanks for that). Note that £30pn is charged on top of room rate for a dog. It was a premium room, so had a lounge area with tv (Disney etc) & separate bedroom area. All very clean and comfy. “Hotel gets very crowded with cruise passengers who all want to check out at the same time. The hotel lifts are small and have trouble coping with the load. When we were there one of the lifts was broken for days and no-one could get down to reception with their luggage. There were a lot of very angry people and no staff to help.”

“Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. “I loved it there, my cabin/pod was super cute with lovely touches, extras. Right in the heart of the New forest!”

“Didn’t start very well with a late check in. - room not ready. It then got worse! The room - bathroom - more hair on the floor in the shower than on my head! The flat screen TV - as big as my iPad and tucked around the corner. The beds - sprinkled with crumbs - cleaner eating lunch? Duvet was thick and heavy and no fan. Then to cap off - the guests that are incapable of considering other guests - noise, door slamming and the smell of weed! We have photos - we will not be showing them!”

“Hotel is in a lovely area and looks beautiful inside and out. The staff I met were nice, however was disappointed after having a long day to arrive and told they were not serving any food (was around 7pm). Our room was nice and mostly clean (empty bottles were left on the floor when we arrived) and the TV would only work on BBC1 and ITV and we couldn't use the remote as this didnt work either 🙈”
