“stayed at the Bishop for one night with family in a 2 bedroom suite. It was cozy, being a "period hotel", the rooms were on the smaller side. Everything was adequate for our stay. Just a note, for those with bad knees, the stairs in the hotel are steeper and smaller than modern standards. Front desk was nice and polite.”

“When you book a regular room, you get sent a couple blocks down the road to what looks like a "renovated " motel. We were directed by a man who had absolutely NO personality and was not welcoming at all. Yes, the rooms face the ocean, but they are not high quality. We spent $200 on this room, which should have costs $75. Windows were dirty, shower base was very mismtched and uncomfortable on your feet. We fought with the heating system too.
