“Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“This was our fourth time at the Pavilion on Northbourne. It’s one of our favourite hotels. The staff are friendly & helpful. The beautiful atrium filled with live plants & trees are just amazing to look at, very resort-style. The bar & restaurant are a great place to relax at the end of the day. Our apartment located in the second building was spacious, clean, and had the most comfortable bed, and fantastic shower. The ground-level free car park is a huge bonus. I will definitely be back and...

“We had 2 joining rooms, which was great for 5 people, having extra Cot was great. Kitchenette, washer, dishwasher fridge. Was very good, too bad we had to stay only one night.”

“This hotel is now getting a little dated. My shower wa pretty old. The reality is that it was cheap to stay here and for the cost it was excellent. I am happy to have affordable nice accomodation. At the end of the day it is somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was dry md pretty ordinary.”

“Nice size family room, however needs more attention to detail in the room. Ie our room was missing pans to cook, the hair dryer was broken, missing a few glasses. Also our room wasn't cleaned despite putting the sign up asking for a clean. However the location was really good, right next to restaurants, fast food, shopping, public transport, rooms were clean. The help yourself cupboard for supplies ie teas, milk, towels etc is a great idea!”
