Guest house in Ruanda

“After reading how in the ghetto's in Africa, you have to be careful if you are white. We decided it was near airport as stated, but in a shanty town that was with even driving 10 minutes off the main road. There were no restaurants near, if we went out, we would have had to have an escort. The young woman in charge looked at us as if we were strange due to the fact, after seeing the location, we backed out of staying in the motel. It was the best home or business in the area that we saw. But...

“Everything was perfect and the room are big enough,they feed you and they are friendly, the only issue was make sure that you don’t pay online when you booking because I don’t know where the money goes, we had to pay again at the hotel and claim your money back which doesn’t make any sense, ather than that it’s perfect for the price ”

“This property is not serious. I had a long flight and when I arrived to the property late at night almost 2am they told me they had no more rooms Available. I had to go somewhere else and hunt for a room. Not only that they never gave me back my refund I had to wait almost a month after long disputes with them and Expedia in order to get my money back. If your a person or family coming from long distance I highly recommend you staying somewhere else not here. The owner is not serious ”

“The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater.”
