“Beautiful hotel & lovely spa & great staff.”

“Room was clean, bed was comfy and towels were fluffy. Evening meal was pretty disappointing, very much lacking in flavour. Burger came with bacon which was not mentioned in menu and was therefore not suitable. Breakfast was good”

“Breakfast was very plentiful and tasty and the two for one happy he with cheese and biscuits was a pleasant surprise. Wasn’t aware we needed to pay £10 for parking however. Room very spacious but was feeezing. No hearing has been put on before our arrival and we had to sit in our coats for ages before it warmed up. Very good location for visiting town on foot ”

“The staff were all super friendly and very helpful; restaurant staff were knowledgeable too. The room was small, pretty and clean; shower and bath were great though ceiling low - it’s a historic property! Ideal location, nice to have resident’s sitting rooms and outside space. The restaurant food was superb and well priced, drinks great, breakfast excellent, coffee very good… A firmer bed and chunkier pillows, and a stretchier hairdryer cord would have made it perfect. We’d be happy to come back...

“Clean, everything you need, walking distance to beach, nice and quiet. Would be 5 star except sofa smells, plant overgrown on entrance to property and back door very stiff and hard to lock. Lovely little estate of pretty houses”
