“The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. “My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. ”

“Beautiful home equipped with everything you need and more for your stay. Hosts had provided a personalised welcome board which was a lovely touch, as well as a welcome pack with breakfast cereals, milk and tea & coffee selection. The bathrooms were equipped with body washes and even shower caps.Arriving Friday after a long trip, the takeaway menus came in handy.. and we discovered that the properties location was situated quite closely to town itself and other local amenities. Our only fault...

“We had a great time on Skye, staying at Shore Cottage. It was just what we needed as a group of 3 couples travelling by van. We were able to spread out and relax. the views across the water to Portree and the Old man of Storr, first thing in the morning was fantastic. Well appointed with everything you need, great cooking facilitys and washing machine etc, to catchup with the laundry. A great place for a relaxing stay.”
