“Great stay”

“Staff is very helpful, rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Jacuzzi works in the king room, but the switch to turn it on is on the wall next to it—the tub button doesn't work. My eyesight is always compromised when I arrive due to dilation drops, and the switch, and I couldn't see it. The front desk and maintenance staff helped me figure it out. Heads up: There are no coffee makers in the rooms any longer.”

“Very clean, very quiet and well located. In addition, the room rates were also quite reasonable given the the current economic climate. About the only drawback, if you’re inclined, is that the workout room is not terribly well equipped.”

“Building was old and dusty. Rooms were just as bad. I was surprised there were no bed bugs when I checked. Looks like staff just switches the bedding. Doesn’t seem like anyone disinfects any surfaces… such as the counters, sink, or bathtubs. Windows were extremely dirty. Not worth the $75 IMO.”

“Hotel pulito, ma datato negli arredi. Moquette rovinata in alcuni punti. Colazione semplice ma con varie opzioni: pane, burro, marmellata, uova, bacon, yogurt, waffle. Varie bevande disponibili. Piscina aperta ma acqua fredda. Prezzo adeguato. ”

“The view of the Allegany River is breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and clean. The decor makes it feel like home rather than a hotel room. The "take and go" breakfast has a very limited selection. However, the room and the other amenities by far outweigh the limited breakfast. We will definitely stay here again!”

“A poor excuse for a hotel. The shower and the bathroom sink didn’t work well, the shower curtain was filthy, and the bath towel was the size of a hand towel. There was only one available outlet in the room, and one of the inputs was too loose to hold a plug. The sliding glass door was very hard to open and almost impossible to lock, and the curtain barely reached across the window/door. The staff was practically nonexistent. There were not enough towels, no coffee maker, and the “breakfast”...

“Everything was wonderful - friendly helpful staff and great breakfast - the only downside was we unfortunately weren't able to use the pool due to a broken heater it was a cool 68° and too cold to enjoy. Other than that, great 1-night stay!”

“Our room appeared clean until I went into bathroom and found hair on the vanity, so I cleaned it myself. As I was getting into the shower I grabbed the floormat and it was soaked and again had hair on it. I had called the desk for extra pillows and when she came I had showed her the bathroom and bathmat she offered to bring me a new and that was all! No care if our room was actually cleaned! Will not recommend!”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose this property because it was the only traditional hotel within walking distance of an event we were attending (Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival) so the rates were probably higher than normal. Our biggest complaint was the free hot breakfast. All 3 mornings were the same. Tasteless sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A handful of high carb offerings. Weak coffee and rock hard butter. The problem with Franklin is there are no restaurants "downtown"...

“Great room. Clean. Staff was super friendly and check in was easy. Breakfast was nice and coffee was delicious. Only annoying thing is that the toilet seat lids are heavy and slam down. Was hearing them in the rooms next to ours and also whenever my friend used the bathroom! Lol other than that great place!”
