“Beautiful place to stay. The birds in the morning, King Parrots along with many other Parrots which came for breakfast and other birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David the host was wonderful full of information. There were wonderful books in the cabin with lots of wonderful detail regarding the forest and the animals and birds. Highly recommend 💜”

“It should not be listed as boutique accommodation.Spiders, spider webs, cockroaches, dishcloth was filthy, bathroom door couldn’t close, corner cupboard door wouldn’t stay closed, mould, filthy blinds. I have photos to support my claim”

“Such a beautiful place just to get away from the city life we live. Highly recommend if you just want to get away and totally unwind and relax. Megan and Brett were lovely and very helpful with things to do and places to go around the glass house mountains and beyond. My partner and i also loved all the walks, climbs and waterfalls all only 25 minutes or less away from Crookneck Retreat.”

"The hotel is very nice and relatively new! The price in the restaurant for the breakfast are very high and the quality and service of the food were poor. Few staff of the hotel looks welcoming but are not very friendly and helping with attention of the Customer needs. The cleaning in the room is just acceptable and needs to be reminded for vacuum the floor. "
