“Lakeview Retreat”

Beautiful 3 bedroom ranch with a half acre right on Cumberland lake! Enjoy sitting on the porch and watching the sunsets after boating all day…there is a boat ramp less than half mile from the driveway! The amenities are endless at this location…literally the best restaurants in Somerset are in your backyard! (Reno’s and Guthries are a short walk among others). There is also a liquor store if you prefer to order in & still have a drink! Free Wifi, workspace, & much more!!

Easy walk to several restaurants including Reno’s Roadhouse, Guthrie’s Grill (0.25 miles), Dos Amigos Mexican Grill & Pizzeria, Burritos Cha Cha Cha. 7.9 miles to SomerSplash Waterpark. Lots of shopping - you are 5-10 minutes from everything! (Kroger, TJ Maxx, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Walmart, and much more)

Several boat ramps within 5 miles, including General Burnside State Park, Burnside Marina, Waitsboro 1 & 2, with the closest being at the end of the street!! (Less than .5 miles to put in when open- it is open seasonally).

Now about the house….3 bedroom, 2.5 Bath Ranch sitting on half an acre lot with beautiful year round lake views. The Master/Primary bedroom includes a King bed with Futon & en suite bathroom with shower. Optional portable crib & toddler mattress upon request. The “Blue” Bedroom (BR2) includes a Queen bed with a lake view. The “Green” Bedroom (BR3) includes a Queen bed with a lake view. Blue & Green bedrooms share hall bathroom which includes a tub/shower combo.

2 desks + FREE WIFI - perfect for remote work!

Kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, microwave, toaster oven and a dishwasher! Washer & Dryer included. Bath & Kitchen towels/wash cloths provided. TV in living area includes 50 inch Roku tv for streaming! WIFI password available on router next to tv.

2 Car attached garage includes overflow space with Ping Pong table & picnic table.

Quick overnight stay
We just stayed for a quick overnight but all agreed it would be ideal to come back for a long weekend! Plenty of room for the kids to run around, spacious and clean bedrooms and common areas!

It’s Even Better In Person
This place was so nice and such a perfect location! We had a blast hiking at the falls close by and spent hours playing ping pong and sitting on the front porch looking at the beautiful lake view! Thanks for an amazing weekend!

Wonderful property
The property was extremely clean and the location was convenient. We stayed here during our annual boating trip to Lake Cumberland. The property had everything we needed for our week long stay. Plenty of toilet paper, towels, dish soap etc. Owners left us popcorn and s'mores stuff for the fire pit which was very nice of them. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porch every morning with the view of the lake. In the evenings we walked to Reno's and Diego's for dinner and really enjoyed the card games in the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location
The house itself is roomy, clean and stocked with everything you need. Location to ramp is convenient. Lots of great restaurants nearby in walking distance as well. Homeowner Justin responds back quickly to any questions/concerns and is super nice. Can't wait for our next visit!!

Good location, good size house
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean. Smelled a little like cigarettes in the garage and one bedroom which was bothersome to our friends who slept in that room but otherwise the house was great, spacious and close enough to everything. We would stay again!

A Great Week at Lakeview Retreat!
This property is lovely, convenient to shopping and great restaurants, a boat ramp, and just a short drive to Somersplash, Mill Springs Civil War park, and Pulaski County Park for swimming, biking and other outdoor sports. Mammoth Cave is just 90 minutes away on the Cumberland Parkway. This is a great property for a family vacation!

Somerset lake view, clean, great location!
We have rented several properties. This place was great! Ranch house with lakeview and very close to Burnside marina where we rented a boat. The house was extremely clean, even my 15 yr old mentioned how immaculate. The beds were very comfortable. Ceiling fans throughout. The garage and rear driveway would be nice play area for kids, ping pong table, other small toys available. Great location, close to marina, restaurants and stores. We would love to stay again!
