Cabina-Bagno privato-Standard-The Lakota

Renovated in April 2023 down to the studs featuring a king-sized bed, new appliances, kitchenware, new furniture, new heat and a/c unit. A cozy, one room cabin perfect for a romantic time away. Hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit.

The Lakota cabin sits nestled on the edge of the woods. It is surrounded by nature and all of the beauty it has to offer. Perfect for 2 guests.

A Great Unplug Getaway
We very much so enjoyed our stay at the Lakota. The place was clean and everything inside was nice and modern. It has the bare essentials to sleep comfortably, cook food, and enjoy the area.

Everything was absolutely beautiful due to the cabin and hocking hills.. getting to the cabin by gps was alittle agrevating but its was a blessing and wonderful stay at the lakota.. everything was very clean.. we r recommending to family and friends and we will be back again..Thank u so much

Close to most attractions
This little cabin was very clean with all the amenities that we needed. The location was great as it was close to most of the parks. Would recommend this cabin for a couple getting away to Hocking Hills.

Great place. Great location
The cabin was great. It was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. Loved having the hot tub to soak in at the end of the day. It was also very close to everything "Hocking Hills" related. Great place. Great location.

We will be back
The property was perfect, and we had an amazing time in Hocking Hills. Plenty of towels, kitchen was stocked well and we enjoyed the deck very much. Even though the temp was very high this week, being under the blanket of trees was very comfortable on the deck.

Relaxing Retreat Stay
Had a beautiful stay at the Lakota for a kid-free weekend away. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and soaking in the hot tub after some hikes in the state park. The cabin was very clean and exactly as described. Would happily rebook again if we are in the area again.

Get Away From It All

Lovely property - all except the water
The location, cleanliness, hot tub, comfort of the bed, were all superb. The ONLY thing that was disappointing was the water. To say that it smelled was an understatement - rotten eggs. We bought jugs of water to use for a shower. Sometimes it was okay but the majority of the time it was unusable for us.

Clean Semi-private Cabin close to all Hocking Hills trails
Overall, this was a very nice place to stay when visiting Hocking Hills. Very short trip to all the main trails. The cabin was clean and well maintained with new appliances. Everything worked great. The hot tub was clean and hot but did not have the most powerful jets. An extra propane tank for the grill was a nice surprise, tongs were provided but a metal spatula would have come in handy. I would call the location semi-private (definitely not secluded) as it's in part of a RV and cabin park, you can just make out two other cabins through the foliage from the deck.

Surprisingly lovely
The Lakota is a beautiful designed and nicely furnished cabin in a wooded location adjacent to Hocking Hills State Park. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It has a wrap-around porch, comfortable outdoor seating and good lighting. We did not use the hot tub that was on the back porch, but a slight problem was that it made the interior of the house vibrate pretty much constantly. A couple of negatives: the lock box entry was not easily maneuvered. We could not get the DVD player to work; maybe it was us but we tried everything. And we felt the 2 1/2 page list of rules and penalties was a bit much. We were asked to clean until everything was just as it was when we arrived, but then expected to leave a gratuity for the cleaners. All in all, an excellent stay on this beautiful property.
