Like a 'living locally' experience. We had the whole floor of a condo building amongst people who were clearly residents.
The concierge for the place was delightful- exceptionally welcoming, informative, and concerned that we had the best possible stay. He even accommodated our vegan diets by leaving us a variety of breakfast foods.
The only downside of the stay was the motion lights in the hallway which turned on if someone got up in the middle of the night and flooded the bedroom while the door opened/closed.
We also had trouble keeping the aircon on in the living area because the kitchen door sensor wasn't properly aligned, causing the unit to turn off a few times. The first time, we had no idea what happened and it took a number of messages and a few hours to sort out what was happening and get it back on.
Otherwise, it was an absolutely wonderful, comfortable place to stay. I would highly recommend it. We would stay there again.
For any beach lovers- it was a great location if you're willing to make a 12 minute drive to Lido Azzurro Pescara. It's free street parking, free beach access, if you want to pay, loads of places with chairs and umbrellas, and a great, long sandy beach.
For mountain lovers- a short drive 20-30 minute drive to numerous hiking trails and various natural scenic sights.
For groceries- there's a humongous supermarket and mall 5 minutes down the street. The phenomenal Gelateria Franca Santa Teresa is 5 minutes the other direction.
