“Nice hotel and convenient location”

“The place was old and big and getting to and from the rooms was quite confusing. The pool was good. There was a huge empty space in the middle of the hotel which made the place feel unwelcoming. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable.”

“There were not enough pillows and the blankets were scratchy and thin Breakfast was a poor affair. Coffee was cold and ran out quickly”

“Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area.”

“Motel was quiet & the beds were comfortable. My daughters loved the hot tub. Breakfast was hot & had plenty of variety to choose from. The room did have some issues that needed addressed. One of the electrical outlets didn't work & sparked if you tried to use it. Also, the tub looked like it had some black mold because the faucet was leaking possibly behind the wall and not just into the tub. Overall, our stay was great in our suite.”

“Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef. She was a military cook for nine years. She loves cooking and adds much to the menu. We walked out with chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. The whole...

“No housekeeping, no help from staff”

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean too they just need to wipe walls as they were dirty and there were buggers on the wall. The breakfast was okay they had sausage, biscuits and other items. Overall I would stay here again.”

“Our room smelt like mold and we had to almost go to another holidayinn as they were refusing to switch our rooms.”

“Very interesting and beautiful place. The antique decor is amazing, like living in a museum. The guest room and bathroom are comfortable though on small side. The shared dining / living area showcased many beautiful paintings and china. Owner/host very knowledgable and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The meal is set by host, but they do accomodate for dietary restrictions.”
