“Had a one night stay booked, as we had an evening wedding reception to go to nearby. We arrived early as we wanted to have a relaxing lunch and not have to rush. Easy access off the A505, ample parking. Had a delicious lunch from a varied menu, quiet, but a lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were fantastic, very attentive. The accommodation was on par with the price we paid, it did the job! Breakfast was lovely in the morning, just what we needed. Check in and out was easy. ”

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”

“The owner was so helpful and went above and beyond to get us to our event nearby. We had a very comfortable night; the rooms were clean with the usual facilities (tea and coffee) that you’d expect with bottled water and fresh milk provided in the fridge. “Arriving at 3.30 we had to fight our way to the bar of this Irish club to check in (it happened to be St. Patrick's Day !) The barmaid did come and show us our room however, a triple with 3 single beds.
