Smiths Lake
For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfer’s dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

Nice view, but needs attention
The house was pretty disappointing.Whilst it was fenced (pet friendly), it felt very basic and unloved.The rug in the lounge was dirty, there were no fly screens on the sliding door to the deck and one of the lounge windows. without air con, this made the house hot. The deck was covered in leaves and bark and no broom to sweep it.There were lots of spider webs inside and out. The timber floors inside aren't sealed, just raw timber, very odd.We won’t be rushing back.

A family oriented accommodation
The accommodation was clean and well managed. It was well equipped and suitable for a family with pets. They even provided firewood which was a bonus. Great location too. It has easy access to the lake.
