“Although not a ‘stand alone’ property, as a guest you’re unaware of the owners’ close proximity. A brand new unit, close to the ocean. Exceptionally well presented with all the mod cons. Very quiet, A positive experience. ”

“Simple accommodation with potential to accommodate lots of people. The main house would benefit from a bit of TLC and updating (frayed carpets, broken toilet seat, retro shower) but it served its purpose and was clean with nice linen and check in was simple. Close to town.”

“We were a family of five plus two extra teenagers. We enjoyed our stay at WhangaBach. It is in a great location - a couple of minutes walk to town and only a few more to the beach. It's a very spacious section, so lots of room for cars, bikes and games. It has a lot of beds, although the bunk room in the house is very small. We found it comfortable for seven people and the sleepout is fairly spacious and convenient with it's own bathroom and small kitchenette. ”

“Loved this property. Amazing views and just a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing. The driveway is a little challenging with a big car but we got used to it. Great communication from the owners. ”

“I've walked past this little bach many times over the years and admired it, but staying in it was so much better than expected. The comfort, the proximity to the beach, the views and the outdoor shower with a proper door you close and hot water, was Heavenly. The bar straight off the kitchen totally enhances this bach experience we loved it. My teenage daughter loved the bunk cubby. We'll be back for sure.”
