“There was a smell in the room that stuff could not do anything about neither give us another room. Good breakfast. Nice wine yards around.”

“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. “Had a smooth check in. Our room was clean and comfortable for our overnight stay. Plenty of well lit parking. Breakfast was the only questionable issue. The scrambled eggs were a little watery. Lots of black pepper helped. What they had for sausage gravy was enateable. Really terrible! Had other choices tho. Good place for an overnight stay.”

“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We...
