Hotel a Urbana

“Two minutes after arriving, we had a knock at the door. Not expecting anyone, my boyfriend responded “who is it?”. A voice of an older man said “the boogy man”??? We asked what he was going at our room, to which he said “I’m about ready to knock this door down”. After calling hotel security, they came up and said no one was in the halls anymore and to call if we hear it again. After finally falling asleep we woke up to loud noises at 4 am that didn’t end until 5:30. It was two people opening and...

“First room offered had powerful odours (pets?) and not acceptable. Alternative room was fine although all odd numbered rooms suffer road noise in morning rushour. Breakfast very nice for level of hotel.”

“The hotel has a great setting for a traveler with a pet. There is a lawn in front and behind the building to walk a dog. Everything else is just awful. A toilet bowl with rusted spots, a dump floor, barely working wi-fi, broken safe, broken locks at the entries of the building… whoa, it is a shame to run such a poorly maintained facility for &100 +l”

“The stay n the location was fine I just didn’t see the 150 extra security deposit for one night stay that threw me off”

“Very nice and clean room. Staff at front counter were always super polite, helpful and welcoming.”

“All good. Staff was great. Rooms were nice, clean, comfy bed. USB ports on the clock, and a c-type port and usb ports on the desk. I booked ahead at a decent rate on expedia.”

“Just pretty ‘down’ - entrance area smelled, the breakfast was awful (I turned on my heals and went to BUY coffee), they gave away my friend’s room and made up a bunch of excuses. I don’t think there was even an elevator? The sheets were a weird fabric… perhaps some unhomed people Living there? No chance I will make this mistake again.”

“Room was clean. The bathtub appeared to be newer, but there wasn't a rubber mat, nor anything stuck to the bottom of the tub to keep people from slipping, sliding and falling. I fell once while trying to bend over to get the soap for washing and then again while I was hanging onto the handicap bar and trying to turn around to get rinsed off. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. I informed the front desk when I checked out.”

“Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.”

“The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.”
