What a gem! This place was built by the Knights of St. John centuries ago, with stone walls, marble tile floors, a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and a fantastic rooftop terrace where we enjoyed beautiful views of Valletta, the harbor and Sliema.
We moved to this property in Valletta after two weeks in Senglea, and we really loved the energy and vibe of Valletta - very enjoyable place and easy to get to Sliema or Three Cities by ferry. The ferries leave every half hour and it's about a 5 minute walk to the Sliema ferry and less than 15 minutes to walk to the Three Cities ferry. Also the fast ferry to Gozo is nearby in Valletta, but we didn't go to Gozo due to lack of time. There is also a bus station less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can get to almost anywhere on the island and take tour buses.
The apartment was very comfortable and enjoyable to stay - we really didn't want to leave!
The hosts Claus and Joseph were very helpful and friendly, and communication was really excellent!
I very highly recommend this place, and plan to book it again when I return to Malta in the spring!
