“The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to visit the national park. The property itself is also very beautiful, situated right within a rainforest and with access to a pool.
Sadly, the "communal kitchen" was a joke. There was a microwave, a kettle and a toaster, some plates and cups and almost no cutlery. It's not a kitchen if there is no stove.
Also the garden view was a big disappointment, as there was no garden to see. We recommend to book the "water view"...
“We stayed for a week at Crusoes Retreat. It is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The last time was 10 years ago. To say the condition had gone downhill is an understatement. The once thatched roofs are now rusted with twigs left. Some Bures have had the roofs replaced. The beachfront bar is rotting and never opened.
