“We had a nice time. The hotel is very beautiful and located very close to nice hiking trails and the pretty stone bridges in the area. The room was also very nice but the beds are VERY firm, so if you need a soft bed to sleep comfortably it might be a problem. The type of service and food just doesn't match up with this being a 4-star hotel. Some of the negative reviews elsewhere could probably be helped by guests having a more realistic idea of what to expect by adjusting this listing, this is...

“We had a fantastic stay! The room itself was great, as shown in the pictures, and with everything we needed. Bathroom was lovely, a very good shower (much needed after a long day hiking). An exceptionally warm and generous host who has lots of useful tips and suggestions, from places to eat to hiking paths and things to do. A brilliant breakfast including fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade bread and cakes, ham and cheese etc. I can’t recommend this place enough.”

“We had a great time in the Zagori region. This place served as a convenient base for three days. Yiannis was friendly and helpful. He recommended some great places to visit that were not on our radar. We opted to get the optional breakfast and it was well worth the price. Would stay here again.”

“An interesting hotel in an amazing location. Booked a standard room with a balcony with views to Papigo. Parking and arrival presents challenges. Luggage is taken to the hotel by staff with an ATV. The walk from parking provides good exercise up inclines. The highlight is the restaurant, breakfast was very good and dinners most enjoyable. ”

“We loved everything about our stay. The beds were comfortable, the air was cold and the views were amazing! George made our stay memorable. He gave us a very specific itinerary that fit our schedule and everything about it was perfect. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay more. ”
