“Overall great stay the bed was comfy and the room was clean. There were a couple of issues including the tv not working which we informed the staff about the morning after the 1st night stay but it wasn’t fixed and no one else spoke to us about it even if it was just to say sorry but they couldn’t resolve the issue. Also the room door wouldn’t shut correctly without slamming it which meant we couldn’t enter leave without disturbing others around us.”

“Room was at the top of the hotel, up lots of very narrow stairs, very basic room which felt more like a spare room, hotel is definitely not a 4 star, struggle to be a 2 Room was very dated and small things werent right, the bedside light fitting was ver loose, the ceiling had decor missing, the wallpaper is like something out of the eighties, the room was tiny, cold and very unwelcoming, the only thing this hotel provided above a 2 star was the toilet roll. Even the water cups were white...

“We had a fantastic stay. The bed was comfy, the room was small but functional with all nice high quality amenities. Bathroom was clean and well decorated with a modern look. Breakfast included and it was the best full English I’ve had in years. No skimping on quality. Price on taps for beer was pretty high but it’s a hotel. They always are. Beautiful building and surroundings. I have no hesitation that we will be coming back. ”
