“Room was quite large, quiet and had everything you need including plenty of plugs! We had evening meal which was very good, service was friendly and efficient as was breakfast the next morning. Check-in and out very easy, plenty of parking, staff all great. ”

“Struttura pulita, situata in quello che sembrava essere un vecchio pub. La signora alla reception gentilissima e molto disponibile. Stanza singola piuttosto piccola, ma essenziale soprattutto se ci si deve solo dormire, tra l'altro con una bella vista su parte della città. La zona è molto tranquilla e vicina sia alla zona del porto sia al centro città (10 minuti a piedi entrambe). Unica scomodità è l'assenza di ascensore che ti obbliga a fare tre piani a piedi, ma tutto sommato è perfetto....

“Very friendly. Room lovely. Would be good to get any tips as you check in eg. Heating on all night so turn your radiator down… 😊”

“The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. We had a beef burger meal in the restaurant which was absolutely lovely. We would stay there again.”

“Staff were amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. The room was dark and there was a noisy generator outside that switched on and off. I was offered another room the next morning. Food was good as was the service. ”

“I had a wonderful stay at the Cromwell Arms recently. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels and amenities. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Romsey and conveniently located in the area. Highly recommended!”

“Hotel senza grandi pretese, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, un po' piccole le stanze, ma buon ristorante, discreta colazione e comodissimo per l'aeroporto!”

“Good location, just 50m or so from the Quay front, great staff allround, but room was ok, but adequate only, for price charged. Dog friendly, which was critical for us, but £10 surcharge charged. Lack of hotel parking wasn't too much of an issue as large multistorey within c.400m, but does add any £10 cost to the visit”

“We love this place, very comfortable. Food is amazing, however we did find our breakfast a little cold at times. Our room was very cosy but maybe could do with a deep clean in the bathroom. There was a drain odour, but that could havd been the toilet brush that was absolutely rank. Not what you expect to see when stepping out of the shower. We really had a great relax. Many thanks”

“Lo consiglio. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico difetto è stato il check in lento e una strana procedura per cui ti addebitano 20 sterline all’arrivo sulla tua carta di credito nel caso consumassi qualcosa (ma in realtà non c’è nemmeno il minibar). Poi con un’altra strana procedura te le riaddebitano al check out ma non ti danno una ricevuta del riaddebito. ”

“We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!”
