Cozy cottage near Bass Lake and Yosemite, with Sundeck, Firepit & Pergola areas.

Blue Cottage is located just 2 miles from Bass Lake boat ramp, 15 miles from Oakhurst, and 24 miles from Yosemite National Park's south gate. You can explore this mountains surrounded area with plenty of lake activities like swimming, boating, fishing and others, hiking and biking trails, beautiful views and places to discover.
BBQ smoker, enjoy a meal under the Pergola or relax by the firepit in the back patio. In the morning you can have your cup of coffee in the sundeck, while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains.
Our living room has a 65" Roku tv(you can log in with your credentials) and a Blu-ray/DVD player, with 2 comfortable sofas and an XL armchair, a wood burning pellet stove, a variety of games, puzzles, movies and books.
The kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, spices, dishes, pots and pans, dishwasher, and more.
Coffee Bar with Keurig brewer and complimentary selection of pods, Tea and cocoa.
The Bathroom is stocked with extra fresh towels, makeup towels, hair dryer, soap , shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toiletries and a first aid kit.
The Master bedroom with a king bed , 32" Roku tv, and beautiful French doors that will take you to our dreamy sundeck .
There are two other bedrooms with twin beds and comfortable, fresh bedding and a closet.
Laundry room with washer, dryer, laundry soap, iron and board.
Outdoor parking.
Back patio with a high fence. Flood camera outside, facing the driveway , and another security camera in the front porch.
Come to enjoy a nature retreat and disconnect from the every day routine in this cozy and private cottage in the sierra Nevada forest. You will be charmed! :-)

Great Stay at Blue Cottage
Clean, comfortable, cozy and good communication with Monica. The cottage was well-stocked and had nice unexpected touches. Saw deer and wild turkey most every morning while sipping coffee. Highly recommend if you're planning to visit the national parks in the region.

Cute cottage, wonderful host
We called the cottage home base for visits to Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, as well as a day trip to the ocean. Monica was a wonderful host, quick to answer any questions or concerns. So thoughtful to have a starter supply of coffee and snacks. Plenty of bottled water provided if well water not to your liking. Portable a/c units in kitchen and living room kept those rooms comfortable. On cooler days, we enjoyed the comfy outdoor spaces.

Extra touches
Cozy Cottage is updated cozy, lots of extras. A coffee station! Several outside sitting areas. Roomy, good for families. The owner has an eye for details. Thumbs up!

Unacceptable condition
Musty, over 90 degrees upon check-in, dirty, unkept and overgrown yard, only 2 window AC units in kitchen/dining areas - not in bedrooms, or anywhere else in home. After 1 hour, the temp had only cooled by 2 degrees. There were bugs on the floor, water had rusty smell and wasn’t drinkable. Overall dirty and refrigerator was cool, but not cold.

Lovely Stay at the Blue Cottage
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The Blue Cottage was exactly as listed and Monica thought of everything- so many thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfy. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Wonderful get away

Beautiful cottage
Had such a wonderful stay at Blue Cottage. It was clean and well stocked with anything we needed or forgot. Loved the screened in porch off our bedroom. Kids loved all the board games that were there too. Played lots of family games. Was truly an amazing stay and wish we had more time.

Cutest Cottage
We arrive after midnight and had no trouble finding the cottage. We awoke the next morning to the cutest place. The house is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had great cooking utensils along with everything you need to enjoy your meal. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, reading on the porch swing, napping on the screened in porch and s’mores around the fire pit. We used the grill for dinner and finished several loads of laundry during our stay. We loved the location for its proximity to Yosemite and Bass Lake. One night we had dinner at South Gate Brewery in Oakhurst, delicious-highly recommended. Monica responded quick with answers to our questions and was easy to work with to make our vacation enjoyable.

This place is very charming. Lots of places to just sit and relax, both inside and outdoors. It is a 1 hour drive to the closest Yosemite gate (Wawona). Winding roads all the way, with a great view of Bass Lake. 2 hours from Yosemite Valley.

Great location, clean house and an amazing host
The house was very clean, had all the essentials and was in a great location (woods). Stayed for 2 days and saw 4-5 deers walking past the house in the mornings and evenings, on both days. Had questions during our stay, Monica and her husband were very prompt in their response - great host! Enjoyed our stay at Blue Cottage

Love the blue cottage!
We really enjoyed our stay at the blue cottage. I love all of the outdoor seating and wildlife. We stayed at the cottage in-between trips to Yosemite and Saquoia National Parks. Also, coffee and snacks were provided.

Memorial Day Weekend at the Blue Cottage
We had a really great time staying at the blue cottage for the long weekend. Monica was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Loves the location! Only a 15-20 minute drive to bass lake so we enjoyed a beautiful hike in bass lake as well as spent a day on the lake. The property was clean and very cozy!

The best cottage we’ve ever rent
Thank you blue cottage for the amazing journey. Me and my family had a great time staying there. The cottage was super clean . Also We didn’t see any bugs . The place is provided with all the needs . Safety and quiet neighborhood . very close to bass lake. I highly recommend the blue cottage and definitely will come back again .

We had a great weekend at the Blue Cottage near Bass Lake.
The place is located a few minutes from Bass Lake and very easy to find. When we arrived, we saw a family of deer walking by. The cottage is high on the hill so we could see The Sierras from the windows. We felt the warmth of the home when we entered through the main door into the living room; BTW, a great spot to relax and what some movies next to the iron stove heater. The decor is charming throughout the house. With a fully stocked and spacious kitchen, we cooked our food and ate it in the pergola outside under the giant cedar and headed out to the lake for the afternoon. We came back a bit tire so we had a quick and light dinner, lighted up the fire pit and relaxed around the fire for a couple of hours until it was time to sleep. Next day we had breakfast in the dinning room and since the weather was nice, we kept the wide doors open to breath in the fresh mountain air.
