In a great location in the village, a lively Saturday in the pub, being the day of our arrival and a fun evening with a small sea shanty singing group in the main bar. Our bedroom was small and accessed through a narrow staircase and passage, no wardrobe, large bathroom, bath only, no shower over and no handrails on a deep bathtub. Very quiet on Sunday evening and last meals served at 6pm latest and last orders 8.30 ish as we were the last in the bar and had been for some while. The pub is traditional but the building itself is suffering whereby, it would appear that some of the staff have little pride whereby the service provided corresponds. The pub is good with an nice atmosphere at busy times but the hotel accommodation is poor and seems to be in use as they are there following an earlier historic conversion, which is now not up to standards, especially for the rates now being charged.
