“Lovely night at The Talbot as we were at an event at The Cook’s Place. The room was bright, airy and spacious, and staff all willing to help. Breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely choose to stay again.”

“Excellent service and dinner. Stay spoiled by excessive room noise from external doors and commerical bin banging in the hotel yard outside our room, and from what we think was the kitchen extractor fan running loudly through the night. I wouldn't recommend a room at the rear of the hotel.”

“Great room - used the upgrade option. Air con temp a bit tricky to control, be nice to see options for pillows like other hotels do. Opted out of housekeeping in exchange for drink form bar was a nice touch. ”
