“Great rental One bedroom and bathroom upstairs and one bedroom and bathroom downstairs….. perfect for two couples House was clean and very well maintained Well stalked with utensils, cookware, plates etc. and spices 30 min drive to valley floor Not a complaint just keep in mind driveway very steep if snow or ice a possibility have chains Neighborhood is plowed but not driveway Totally recommend!!!”

“Had a great time at Gary’s place. Terry, the property manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately the washing machine broke before our arrival, so we didn’t have access to it during our stay. Terry let us know in advance and both she and Gary were accommodating to our arrival time, even though it was outside the checkin time. The cabin is great! Plenty of room for our group of 8 that spanned infant to adult. Plus a dog. Board games and a well stocked kitchen. It’s close to the lake and...

“This is our second stay at this VRBO. Again, well stocked; everything is easily accessible. Considerations are definitely made for guests in mind. Comfortable upstairs bed. Haven't used downstairs bedrooms as our children are in college and have not been able to join us on our past couple trips. Home itself is nice and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe. We will definitely be back.”

“Convenient location, a block from the public beach! The deck has a view of the lake, and is a perfect spot for breakfast and coffee before heading to the lake. The house is well equipped, clean and functional. The decor could definitely use an upgrade, as its a time capsule to the 60s and 70s. But all in all, we had an amazing time using this beautiful home.”

“We all enjoyed the weekend from the grandparents to the grandkids. The kids loved the game room and they were able to sleep in the.same area without disturbing the other levels. We appreciated all the amenities. The weekend was made more special because so many of us could be together.”

“We had a great stay at the property. It had everything we needed to get some comfortable rest and daily hiking. Made breakfast daily and not too far from some restaurants up the road. Spent the first snowy evening in the hot tub and hiked locally the first day. Took a short drive to Fallen Leaf Lake where we hiked the next day. The mountain venue is spectacular!”

“We had a great time here on a last minute mini vacation. I cannot say enough about this place. We have 2 big dogs, and the fenced porch plus the large fenced in back yard was a huge plus. We loved that our dogs could also join us inside. This cabin is close to the Big Bear Village, ski resorts and much more. We arrived to doggie treats, take home coffee mugs and fresh coffee. “We had a wonderful time at the Manzanita House. My wife and two daughters (9 & 6) loved the house. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Mou was great, and was super responsive. We were looking to go to the snow and Mou gave us a few options. While there wasn't snow at the property while we were there we managed to find some sledding and loved being able to come back and relax in the hot tub. We had a really pleasurable experience and would definitely stay here again.”
