“La Struttura e un po datata ma funzionante e funzionale, le camere sono ampie e dotate di tutto cio che serve, la mia non aveva il frigorifero e l'armadietto era piuttosto piccolo. Molto vicino a Cardiff Bay area, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. La colazione e varia e ricca (15 pounds ad adulto). ”

“Struttura piccola, forse un po' vecchia e priva di una particolare manutenzione delle camere, ma comunque dotata di tutto ciò che serve per passare un soggiorno piacevole. Il personale é molto gentile e disponibile. La stazione centrale di Cardiff é veramente vicinissima. Molto comoda la possibilità di fare il check in e il check out a qualsiasi ora del giorno o della notte. Forse un po' alto il rapporto qualità prezzo, ma é anche vero che parliamo di un centro città.”

“We had a brilliant stay all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and although lots going on plenty of places to sit. We did have use of the pool and spa area which was o.k could do with updating a bit. And maybe a bit warmer. Room was clean and plenty big enough although bed was extremely uncomfortable. Me and my partner had a rough night sleep on a hard mattress which seemed to be wrapped tightly in a quilt. Would definitely return ...if we knew the mattresses were...

“What an absolute find, a true revelation. Okay, Newport itself may not be the most salubrious of towns, but the Mercure Hotel is in a league of its own. The hotel is situated right in the town centre, very close to the Friars Walk Shopping Centre and it’s undercover 24 hour car park. We parked there for 2 nights, a 5 minute walk to the hotel, and only cost just over £15. The hotel itself, looks a relatively new building from the exterior, it was in fact built in 1966. "A lovely hotel where you can feel the ancient atmosphere but where the rooms are perfect and fully refurbished. I found the staff extremely professional and polite. The position is perfect, walking distance to the main attractions. The railway station is not too far neither and I walked with my suitcase without issues. It will certainly be my first choice for my next trip to Cardiff."
