4/5 - Good
Book online if you can - even in November there was a 2 hour delay for entry. The gardens and the Gloriette are beautiful and free. Visit the cafe if it’s open.

It gets very busy, go early and try miss the crowds.
When you buy a ticket you are given a time slot for entry to the palace rooms. The Gloriette at the top of the hill do good food indoors and out, and you can get there by road train for a modest fee. There is also a restaurant behind the buildings to the left of the entrance square. This stays open after the main building is closed.
Use the land train in Schoenbrunn, visit the Palace and go to the Apple Strudel demonstration, it was informative, fun and set in a beautiful room with comfy chairs and tables. One of the highlights of the trip
Didn’t have time to go inside or see extra attractions that had to be paid for
Pick your day. Our visit was very crowded and queuing for a ticket was about 30 minutes in very hot conditions. We were sold a ticket and only then told the tour of the palace was tightly scheduled (to the minute) and our allocation was very late afternoon. It was sorted out in the end but not an enjoyable experience.
