“Great place to stay! The facilities are lovely, with shady places to sit and enjoy the view of the sea in the distance. The pool is great, the bed was very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again. ”

“Peaceful with little noise in the hotel. People respected other hotel patrons. It was clean, just a bit outdated, but with a pool, literally walking distance to the beach, and restaurants down the road, what more could you ask for in Puerto Rico? Well, located close to the rain forest, like 5 minute drive to entrance, 30 minutes to the ferry to go to the other islands, and 30 minutes from Old San Juan. Will be back.”

“Pleasant stay overall. Room was comfortable. There is AC, TV and a balcony on the 3rd floor which was nice to sit outside of and watch the sunrise. Room was clearly in between drywall repair. If youre a light sleeper, this place is not for you. Early morning roosters around the property, traffic noise and other guests chatting outside during late hours. ”

“What a great place to stay! Our room was nice and clean. A bit rustic, but you're on Vieques! You can tell Skip really cares about this place he has built over the years. Swimming pool! He offered free to use beach towels, chairs, and snorkeling gear. A very short walk to the "Esperanza strip". Would definitely stay again!”

“This place is very unusual and romantic. Completely open air with mosquito net, minimalistic, set in a natural area that is lovely. The room was high up and got a lovely breeze. Want to stay there again!”

“This is an excellent home base from which to enjoy the east side of the island. The rooms are excellent and a great coffee shop literally steps from the front door. Very close to the town square. Do be prepared for road noise and lively folks outside but the owners are aware and provided earplugs - although I did not need them. If you like being in the heart of the action and have a super cute place to stay... this is it! The parking is roadside but we were able to get a spot right outside our...

“The Esperanza Inn was the perfect place for us. Our stay was short but Suzann was lovely and provided us with tips on where to go to maximize our time on Vieques and enjoy beautiful parts of the island. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We definitely plan to be back (hopefully sooner rather than later!) and when we do, we will stay again at the Esperanza Inn. ”

“When we showed up we initially could not find the location as it was surrounded by a few abandoned houses. After finally finding it we found it to be locked and there was no front staff to let us in. This location is not a hotel, it is more of an abandoned house. When we called the phone number there was no answer. Had to stay in a different hotel that night, please do not book here.”
