“Very good quality. Feels very comfortable. Good for touring area as far away as Snowdonia. Guests should have access to spa at all times it is open, not have to pay from 9 - 5. Because these times are pay for I would not class it as a spa hotel.”

“Struttura decisamente vecchiotta da ristrutturare (vedi mouquette strappata cosi come le poltrone della camera o nelle aree comuni) I letti e relativa biancheria erano ok e puliti. Va bene per una notte. Il giudizio generale è ,malgrado tutto, positivo per la superba vista sulla baia dalla camera.”

“Lovley old original property, our room had a nice view of the castle. Dinner was superb but we couldn’t reccomend the breakfast , The buffet ran out completely ( orange juice toast etc ) and wasn’t replenished for over half an hour in spite of us asking . We waited over an hour for our cooked breakfast to arrive . When it did arrive there was one rasher of bacon, one sausage, half a mushroom and one fried egg. I’m not a greedy person but it didn’t seem like a lot for £15. After waiting so long...

“The room was ok. Comfortable bed and as described. The bathroom likewise although maybe just starting to get slightly tired. But we only had one hand and one bath towel in there - we didn’t notice in the evening, then didn’t have time to ask and wait for any in the morning when we realised so had to just share… ”

“The hotel is literally in the center of town, and the facade and bar are charming. The churches and shopping nearby are lovely. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you are there to see a football game, the stadium is an easy 20ish minute walk away, and you will be in good company walking with other fans. However, the bedrooms are old and in need of renovation. The bedroom part of the hotel lacks any charm at all. The rooms are fine if all you want is a place to sleep, but you may not want...
