“My brand new shirt that I was ironing to wear for a funeral was damaged due to a damaged ironing board. I had both the shirt and ironing board inspected by one of the reception staff who took photos of both to show the damage. The ironing board was replaced with a new one, unfortunately of no use to me as my shirt was already damaged. No feedback from the hotel, asked Claire on reception about it two days later, she advised me that she would check with the manager who was on site that...

We opted for a classic double room and (unlike other standard double rooms I’ve stayed in, where you can barely move around the bed) it was a great sized room with a huge bed. Our stay included breakfast and it was very good - hot buffet and also cold bits (ham, cheese, yoghurt and fruit, croissants, etc) - something for everyone.
