“Very nice hotel closed to the city Center of Hilo. The hotel is fully renewed and it embraces the spirit of Big Island and Hilo particularly, with respect to the planet and providing nice amenities for Yoga and meditation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very nice. I couldn’t ask for a better stay ”

“Rooms are in need of improvement. They are dirty and outdated. Food service good but prices to high for what you get. Need tv in room. A table in room would be great if no tv so you could play cards etc. a comfortable chair would be highly recommended. As a travel agent I would not recommend it to my customers because they would only be upset as we were. ”

“A due passi dall'ingresso del Volcano National Park. Sistemazione confortevole, in mezzo alla giungla. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili, ci hanno lasciato una abbondante colazione. Le camere sono accoglienti anche se vista la posizione c'è mota umiditià, ma il posto ricompensa del disagio. ”

“Graziosissimi cottages nel verde. Ragazza alla reception molto gentile. Sebbene la colazione non fosse compresa abbiamo trovato il necessario in stanza. Luogo un po isolato ma a circa 500 m si trova store e rist. Per chi vuole tranquillità e posto diverso dal solito hotel Parcheggio gratuito ”

“The Inn is on a beautiful property that is accessed via a gate protected private road. The waterfall is amazing and very peaceful. It is not your standard hotel as there is no TV or standard amenities, however there is a common area kitchen space with shared refrigeration and appliances.”

“We had a good stay at Magic Skies. The property seemed to have a nice atmosphere with the different spaces and room themes though there were some areas undergoing maintenance at the time of our stay. We didn’t end up having the breakfast service offered but it seemed reasonable. Though overall was an enjoyable stay with a good location.”

“Amazing view from the king suite! Charming character and appreciated keurig with coffee pods and creamer, silverware and paper plates, etc. Walls thin and had some disturbance from one neighbor. Parking is difficult and steep.”

“The room was beautiful and relaxing. I wanted to spend time there! Everything seemed well thought out so the small details made it quite a special experience. The bed and linens were great, the fruit was lovely, and the coffee/tea with the table set was welcoming. I could warm up quickly if it got chilly, and the private patio with rocking chairs was a nice way to enjoy coffee at dawn. ”

“The experience of staying at Kalani Oceanside Retreat was very relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the yoga class we signed up for very much. The people we encountered, both guests and staff, were great to talk with. The cottage we stayed at had lots of room and we had a fabulous view of the ocean and grounds around us.”

“This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. The accommodations are primitive and like camping but Mango Cabin was very spacious and the beds were VERY comfy. It is off-grid but there is electricity to the cabins. The cabins...
